Cerebrospinal fluid obstruction and malabsorption in human neonatal hydrocephaly

This study found that in neonatal hydrocephalus, post-hemorrhagic cases show higher biomarkers for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) malabsorption than spina bifida cases. Early spina bifida hydrocephalus is primarily caused by CSF obstruction, not malabsorption.
