["Snapping wrist" caused by tumor of the flexor tendon]

The snapping wrist, in contrary to the snapping finger, is a rare lesion. The knot caused by tumour, synovitis, rheumatic or partial tendon injury gets at the motion of the tendons in the carpal canal accompanied by a snapping phenomenon. Authors describe one case in which the causative factor was a benign tumour. After its removal the phenomenon and the complaints disappeared.
