Summary

This study demonstrates a novel tandem optical parametric oscillator (OPO) system for mid-infrared generation. A bulk Bragg grating significantly narrowed the spectral bandwidth of a periodically poled KTiOPO(4) OPO, enabling efficient pumping of a ZnGeP(2) OPO.
