Background:

Breast cancer patients often forget diagnostic and treatment details over time.
Information retrieval for follow-up care at different institutions is time-consuming.

Purpose of the Study:

To develop and evaluate a Visual Evaluation Summary Sheet (VESS) for breast cancer patients.
To improve patient comprehension and accessibility of diagnostic and therapeutic information.

Main Methods:

A VESS was created for 25 breast cancer patients, detailing diagnosis, investigations, and adjuvant therapy.
VESS creation involved computers, digital microscopy, and PACS radiology images.
The one-page summary could be printed or digitally stored.

Main Results:

Each VESS averaged 4.4 MB, containing 11.5 images.
The data spanned an average of 216 days of patient information.

Conclusions:

Patients received a complete summary of their breast cancer diagnosis and adjuvant therapy.
The VESS serves as a valuable tool for patient information consolidation.
