Interleukin-10 promoter polymorphism and venous thrombosis: a case-control study

Certain interleukin-10 (IL-10) promoter gene polymorphisms are independent risk factors for venous thrombosis. The IL-10 G10 allele is also associated with recurrent venous thromboembolic events.
