Summary

Psychogenic tremor is the most common psychogenic movement disorder (PMD). Most patients experience symptom improvement with effective treatment and stressor elimination, indicating a positive prognosis.

Background:

  • Psychogenic disorders, including psychogenic movement disorders (PMD), present diagnostic and treatment challenges.
