Low R-wave amplitude in implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) can lead to inappropriate shocks. Careful monitoring is crucial, especially for patients with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) or sarcoidosis, to prevent adverse events.
