A short, seven-day treatment combining tripotassium dicitrato bismuthate and amoxycillin with metronidazole effectively eradicates Helicobacter pylori in 72% of patients. The regimen is safe, well-tolerated, and particularly effective for metronidazole-sensitive H. pylori infections.
