Compatible ABO mismatch and liver transplantation: a single center's experience

ABO-compatible mismatched liver transplants are often necessary due to organ shortages. This study found similar patient and graft survival rates for ABO-compatible mismatched and ABO-identical liver transplants, suggesting minimal risk in urgent cases.
