Does the septic shock interfere experimental acute pancreatitis in rats?

This study investigated the effect of Escherichia coli lipopolysaccharide (LPS) on acute pancreatitis in rats. Results indicate LPS did not amplify the inflammatory response but did increase IL-6 levels in pancreatitis models.
