Adrenal function improves in asthmatic children on inhaled steroids: a longitudinal study

Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) may affect adrenal function in children with asthma. While some asthmatic children show improved adrenal response with long-term ICS, others may experience distinct adrenal suppression.
