Circulating angiogenic factors and placental abruption

In placental abruption, lower placental growth factor (PlGF) and higher soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase 1 (sFlt-1) levels were observed. These angiogenic factor changes were linked to hypertension development in pregnancy.
