Summary

The intracarotid methohexital procedure (IMP) may overestimate ipsilateral memory reserve compared to the intracarotid amobarbital procedure (IAP), potentially impacting epilepsy surgery outcomes. Further research is needed to validate IMP for memory lateralization.
