Background:

• Multiple myeloma (MM) is a cancer of plasma cells.
• CD200 is a gene encoding a membrane glycoprotein involved in immune regulation.

Purpose of the Study:

• To investigate CD200 gene expression in newly diagnosed multiple myeloma cells (MMCs).
• To determine the correlation between CD200 expression and patient prognosis, specifically event-free survival (EFS).
