Summary

A man died from acute myocardial ischemia, with a bandaged, inflamed, and infected penis possibly due to bites. This case explores the link between penile injury and sudden cardiac death.

Background:

Sudden death in males can have various underlying causes.
Penile trauma is an uncommon finding in forensic investigations.

Observation:

A case report details a male in his late 30s found deceased due to acute myocardial ischemia.
The deceased presented with a bandaged penis exhibiting inflammation, infected abrasions, and swelling, suggestive of bite injuries.
Photographic evidence documented the bandage, inflammation of the frenulum, penile shaft injury, and generalized penile edema.

Findings:

Microscopic examination revealed acute myocardial ischemia, pulmonary edema, and fatty liver.
The penile injuries were attributed to potential bite trauma.
