Arthroscopic laser surgery in temporomandibular functional joint disorders

This study shows that arthroscopic lysis, lavage, capsular stretch, and holmium:yttrium-aluminium-garnet (Ho:YAG) laser treatment effectively improved temporomandibular joint function and reduced pain in patients with chronic closed lock.
