Enhanced external counterpulsation improves exercise tolerance in patients with chronic heart failure

Enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP) improved exercise tolerance and quality of life in heart failure patients. While not increasing peak oxygen uptake, EECP offered significant benefits for mild-to-moderate heart failure (HF).
