Cryptorchidism and semen quality: a TEM and molecular study

Undescended testes (cryptorchidism) in childhood can lead to significant sperm quality issues in adulthood. Even after surgical correction (orchidopexy), men show impaired sperm and meiotic segregation, necessitating thorough sperm analysis before fertility treatments.
