Area of Science:

  • Dentistry
  • Oral Surgery
  • Implantology

Background:

  • Dental implant therapy typically involves a lengthy healing period.
  • Early and immediate loading protocols aim to reduce treatment duration and enhance patient experience.

Observation:

  • Three clinical cases of dental implant placement and immediate loading are presented.
  • Preliminary augmentation was performed in two cases, followed by provisional implant placement and immediate provisional dentures.
  • One implant failure occurred; otherwise, no adverse events were noted.

Findings:

  • All successfully placed implants remained functional for 3 to 5 years post-placement.
  • The case series indicates a high success rate for immediate implant loading in selected patients.
