Health disparities continue to affect minority populations despite existing efforts.
Traditional approaches have proven insufficient in eliminating these inequities.
The Ninth Biennial Symposium on Minorities, the Medically Underserved, and Cancer highlighted these ongoing challenges.

Purpose of the Study:

To advocate for a paradigm shift in addressing health disparities.
To identify and emphasize the root causes of inequities in healthcare access and outcomes for minorities.
To encourage health professionals to adopt innovative strategies beyond "age-old approaches".
