Background:
Advances in biomedical science and technology have raised profound challenges to the way we think, feel, and act regarding human practices and ideals. Ethicists are needed from diverse populations who can enhance moral debate by offering cultural insight as choices are made as to how society should approach the expanding medical and biological possibilities.
Methods:
In this text, we review comments from bioethicists who are focusing on the moral issues surrounding health disparity.
Results And Conclusions:
The purpose of the report is to ask the reader to begin to understand how to be an informed partner in this ethical debate.
