Abstract:
Influenza virus belongs to Orthomyxoviridae, which replicates its genome in nuclei of host cells. Replication requires binding to the cellular receptor, entry into host cytoplasm and other several steps followed. In this article, recent findings of the virus replication steps, particularly emphasized on receptor recognition, fusion process, RNP transport and assembly were reviewed.
