Summary

Acrylamide (ACR) exposure causes peripheral neuropathy by altering nerve cytoskeletal proteins. This study found ACR significantly changed neurofilament and tubulin levels in rat sciatic nerves, suggesting a molecular mechanism for nerve damage.
