Posaconazole prophylaxis in experimental systemic zygomycosis

Posaconazole (POS) and amphotericin B (AMB) demonstrated efficacy in treating zygomycosis in mice. POS showed potential for prophylaxis, reducing infection severity and prolonging survival against Rhizopus oryzae and Absidia corymbifera.
