  • Imaging revealed distinct lesions: a nodule in the renal pelvicalyceal system and an exophytic tumor at the kidney's lower pole.
  • The lesions showed differential contrast enhancement and specific characteristics, including hypodense foci and calcification in one.

Findings:

  • Pathological diagnosis confirmed papillary TCC in the renal pelvis and clear cell type RCC in the kidney parenchyma.
  • The case represents a rare instance of synchronous primary renal and urothelial malignancies.

Implications:

  • This case underscores the importance of comprehensive imaging evaluation for genitourinary malignancies.
  • Accurate diagnosis of combined renal and urothelial cancers is crucial for appropriate treatment planning.
