Extradural motor cortex stimulation (EMCS) showed no significant objective benefits for advanced Parkinson's disease (PD) patients. However, some patients reported subjective improvements in stability and gait, with a trend toward reduced medication needs.

- EMCS may offer limited symptomatic relief for specific PD symptoms in carefully selected individuals.
