Abstract:
In the field of preventive mental health, the author has supervised the therapeutic relationship in many groups of helping professionals from different areas over a period of several years. A concept of the therapeutic relationship is explained. Then, a precise description of the workings of a supervision group is presented. If this type of supervision appears so important to the author, it is only that a more extensive group of helping professionals can better meet the mental health needs of the population.
