Heterogeneous epileptogenicity and cortical function within malformations of cortical development: a case report

This study presents a case of intractable partial epilepsy caused by malformations of cortical development (MCD). Surgical removal of the core epileptogenic zone successfully controlled seizures without causing functional deficits.
