Summary

Polypoidal lesions in polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy (PCV) often create a notch in serosanguineous pigment epithelial detachments (PEDs). These lesions, typically at the PED margin, can appear inside the PED when fluid accumulation causes detachment from the Bruch membrane.
