Discussion on satisfaction and relevant factors of computerized nursing operation

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to examine satisfaction level and relevant factors of computerized nursing operation at one medical center in southern Taiwan. Structure and non-structure questionnaire survey is conducted on 96 nursing staffs through "Questionnaire of Satisfaction Level toward Computerized Nursing Operation." The results indicated that satisfaction level ranked between fair and satisfied, nursing record is the item with the highest score, and the question "Linking medical advice and instruction to nursing records to save typing time" scored the highest. In addition, basic properties of nursing staffs such as working years, current rank, and the years of using computerized nursing operation reached statistic significance. The results in this study are able to serve as the reference for nursing information designers.
