A combined electrocoagulation-sorption process applied to mixed industrial wastewater

This study shows that combining aluminium electrocoagulation with biosorption effectively removes organic pollutants from industrial wastewater. This dual treatment significantly reduces chemical oxygen demand, biochemical oxygen demand, color, turbidity, and fecal coliforms.
