Comparative cytokeratin distribution patterns in cholesteatoma epithelium

Cytokeratin (CK) expression in cholesteatoma, middle ear mucosa, and ear canal epithelium was studied. Cholesteatoma epithelium showed increased CK expression, suggesting a role in its proliferative behavior and keratinocyte migration.
