Low frequency fatigue in human quadriceps is fatigue dependent and not task dependent

Low-intensity, long-duration isometric contractions do not cause more low-frequency fatigue (LFF) than high-intensity, short-duration contractions when muscle fatigue levels are similar. This study shows LFF depends on both task parameters and the degree of fatigue achieved.
