Calcitriol plus hydrochlorothiazide prevents transient post-thyroidectomy hypocalcemia

Pre-treating patients with calcitriol and hydrochlorothiazide effectively prevents hypocalcemia after thyroid surgery and shortens hospital stays. This hypercalcemic drug regimen offers a significant benefit for post-thyroidectomy patient recovery.
