  • Utilized administrative health data from Alberta, Canada, including physician contacts and ICD-9-CM diagnostic codes.
  • Identified cases of motor neuron disease (MND) and affective disorders.
  • Employed stratified analysis and logistic regression to assess the association.

  • Identified 336 cases of motor neuron disease (MND), with a prevalence of 14.5 per 100,000 adults.
