Abstract:
Magnetic resonance imaging data were analyzed in 340 patients (224 males, 116 females) aged 20 to 80 years. The dimensions of cerebellum were estimated on its standards sections. A relationship was found between the cross dimension of the cerebellum and the craniometric indices. The cerebellar dimensions in males were greater than those in females. Decreased cerebellar dimensions were observed in subjects over 60 years of age.
