Summary

Artificial antigen presenting cells (aAPCs) efficiently amplify tumor-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) for cancer immunotherapy. This "prime and expand" method offers a superior alternative to natural antigen presenting cells for adoptive cell transfer therapy.
