Alkaloids from Sarcomelicope megistophylla

Two novel alkaloids, cyclomegistine B and sarcomejine B, were discovered in Sarcomelicope megistophylla bark. Their unique structures, including a rare cyclobuta[b]quinoline ring system, were determined using advanced spectroscopic methods.
