Recurrent renal hyperparathyroidism caused by parathyromatosis

Parathyromatosis, a cause of recurrent hyperparathyroidism (HPT), is less common after total parathyroidectomy (PTx) with autograft than sub-total PTx. This condition is challenging to diagnose and manage, often persisting after re-operation.
