Abstract:
Ureteral occlusion with proximal ureteral urinary diversion is usually required in patients with ureteral fistulae secondary to malignant disease. Palliative endourologic management as described with the percutaneous ureterostomy is a viable alternative in treating ureteral fistulae in this patient population.
