[Mouse type II cytokeratin genes CK-4 and CK-8 mapped on chromosome 15]

Human cytokeratin cDNA fragment was used as a probe and hybridized to mouse-hamster hybrids DNA. The Southern hybridization analysis showed that the mouse type II cytokeratin genes CK-4 and CK-8 located on chromosome 15.
