Abstract:
This poster describes research on the workflow of paramedics during disaster response. After thorough solicitation of feedback from the user community, we translated the user workflows into data models that could be encompassed into information technologies for disaster response. Three data models described in this paper are: tasks to be completed by responders, resources used for each task, and communications link between responders. This work has been employed in Advanced Health and Disaster Aid Network (AID-N) architecture.
