    Abstract:

    A method for micropropagation of Valeriana edulis ssp. procera is described. In four weeks, plantlets from aseptically germinated seeds formed adventitious shoots in B5 medium with (5.0 mg/l) BA and (0.2 mg/l) IAA. Rooting was performed in B5 medium with (0.4 mg/l) IAA and (2.0%) sucrose. Plantlets were acclimatized.
