New cycloartane glycosides from Cimicifuga dahurica
Abstract:
Two new cylcoartane glycosides along with a known compound, 12beta-hydroxycimigenol 3- O-alpha- L-arabinopyranoside, were isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuga dahurica (Ranunculaceae). The structures of the new compounds were elucidated as cimigenol 3- O-alpha- L-arabinopyranoside and 25- O-acetylcimigenol 3- O-alpha- L-arabinopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence.
