Summary

Giant renal artery pseudoaneurysms are rare complications of blunt abdominal trauma. This case highlights successful diagnosis with computerized tomography and treatment via selective embolization for a large pseudoaneurysm.

  • The giant renal pseudoaneurysm was successfully diagnosed using CT imaging.
  • Selective arterial embolization proved an effective treatment modality.
  • This minimally invasive approach achieved successful occlusion of the pseudoaneurysm.

Implications:

  • Embolization is a viable and effective treatment for giant renal artery pseudoaneurysms.
  • Early diagnosis and intervention can prevent potential complications.
