PADI4 polymorphisms and rheumatoid arthritis susceptibility: a meta-analysis

Peptidylarginine deiminases 4 (PADI4) gene variations are linked to rheumatoid arthritis (RA) susceptibility, particularly in Asian populations. While some PADI4 polymorphisms increase RA risk in Europeans, the association is stronger in Asians.
