A simple method to estimate cardiac function during routine multi-row detector CT exams

Computed tomography (CT) can now predict cardiac output and ejection fraction using right-to-left cardiac transit time. A transit time over 10.5 seconds strongly indicates cardiac dysfunction, offering valuable physiological insights during routine scans.
