Ascorbic acid antagonizes nicotine-induced place preference and behavioral sensitization in mice

Summary

Ascorbic acid reduced the acquisition and expression of nicotine-induced place preference in mice. It also attenuated the acquisition of nicotine sensitization, but did not affect its expression.
