Cell production and cell function in human cyclic neutropenia.

L Brandt, O Forssman, F Mitelman

    Scandinavian Journal of Haematology
    |October 1, 1975

    Summary

Cyclic neutropenia involves periodic low neutrophil counts. This study suggests ineffective granulopoiesis during neutropenic phases, despite increased bone marrow activity, leading to depleted granulocyte reserves.
