Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the H:Q ratios in female collegiate soccer players.
  • To determine the effect of a 6-week strength training program on H:Q ratios.

  • 12 female NCAA soccer players underwent pre- and post-training assessments.
  • Isokinetic dynamometry measured peak torque of hamstrings and quadriceps during concentric and eccentric actions at various speeds.
